Default tiny crack in the oil pan

Myself or one of my buddies must of torqued the oil pan bolts (closest to the timing chain cover) too tight when we did a cam swap and there are two tiny cracks near the bolts. They seep oil a bit only when the engine heats up. I really don't want to buy a new pan or even drop the pan for that matter. I tried silicone but was not successfull. Is there something else that maybe bonds better to metal and resists oil? Maybe JB Weld? Any input would be great, thanks.

i would try the jb weld but as long as you keep a check on your oil level it should be ok for now. i would replace it eventually though

waterweld... (any parts store has it)

I patched a LARGE crack in the bottom of my LS-engine'd rock buggy with it.. still holding months later with no leaks.

Whatever adhesive you use (I like JB Weld) make sure the crack is clean and free of oil when you patch it (drain the oil if you have to) and of course rough up the surface around the crack with light sandpaper.

It only seeps oil when hot so I waited till it was done leaking and cleaned it with brake cleaner. I then used water weld to patch the two small cracks. Once that dried I put silicone over it for extra protection. I am waiting 24 hours before starting it to make sure everything is dry. I'll know by tonight if it still leaks. Thanks for all the input guys.
