Default Fouled plug=water pump leak???

This is probably coicidental, but I just seafoamed my dads car and caused a fouled plug. It was a rough idle but I was able to drive it for a couple of hours. It stalled out once but fired right up. After cleaning the trottle body better I ran it and the water pump started leaking at the block seal, I think. Could a fouled plug cause a problem like this? I had absolutley NO overheating or poor oil pressure, just the rough idle.
