Default change oil light
does anyone know how to get the change oil light to go off after a self oil change @3000mi??
car is a 02 Z-28 A4
thanks for any advice

Turn the key on, don't start car. Hold the trip meter reset down for a few seconds. It will turn off.

turn the key to "on" without starting the car. then press the trip button until the oil light blinks

That's how I do it, I could never get the trip reset to work right. The gas pedel option doesn't reset the trip meter either (not that it matters).

I think you have to hold the trip reset in for 12 seconds, it seems like a long time when your doing it but it works.

The three pedal thing is primarily for the trucks, but if it works on F-Body's too, hey...give it a shot.
