Default Nail in Tire

Would it be ok if I had to drive around on this for a few days? It's been in my wheel for at least two weeks and been driven on before and its holding air fine.

its not leaking because it still has all its tire pressure and like i said its been in for at least two weeks probably more like 6 weeks. Yeah cheap to replace but suck when they have maybe 1k miles on them

personally i wouldnt take the chance of getting a flat while driving down the freeway, but if its been 2 weeks and no prob, a couple more days prob wont hurt.

I had a nail in my rear passenger tire almost in the same spot pull it out and plug it. Or better yet get it patched and it will be good as new!

I plug crap like that all the time on my tires, don't worry about it. The last time I got a nail like that in there, the tires lasted an extra 30k miles for me + a dozen track passes.

You can patch that no problem. But hell, just use the old style plug, it'll hold way past the life of the tire. Go to a tire kingdom and get it done. $10.00

I'd just buy a plug kit at the auto store and fix it yourself and then you have somthing to fix it the next time.

lil more then 10$...and there not sposed to plug...patch only...patchs cant touch sidewalls so depending on the patch size that might be doable, might not be...plug it for a TEMP fix...then get another tire

Get some soap and water and get it all around the nail. Push the tire in a little bit to try and make more pressure and if theres bubbles in the soap, it will need to be fixed sooner rather than later. You dont want to be driving on a freeway and have the tire go
