lol that made my day haha but ya man it sounds like ur AC compressor is going out, i wouldnt and as far as adding oil i am pretty sure you have to do that when recharging. But i wouldnt just replace the compressor and hope it fixes it. I would get under the car and listen see if you can pinpoint the noise. Try using a long screw driver and poke the compressor with it and put your ear at the other end see if it gets loud.

Glad you got it fixed! That sounded pretty textbook. But I still always have that 'hope I diagnosed it right' feeling.
