Default Do it yourself Oil Changing

What parts do you need??

Besides the oil and filter... like pans or lifting the car and stuff...

never done it... don't want to trust any jiffy lube or other stealing place.

Just be sure to take the oil back to the parts store. It easier than you think!

Are you SURE you wouldn't rather trust someone that sounds like they've done it before?

Go buy a set of rhino ramps ;if you don't a set. Ramps make it a lot easier.
After pulling it up on the ramps wait 2 hours if the engine is hot, then go pull the drain plug. If the engine is cold skip the 2 hour wait. Get a small box of blue disposable gloves, a roll of paper towels, And I use a large open top drain pan. I usually wait about 1/2 hour after pulling the drain plug before putting the drain plug back in.

installuniversity.com has a write-up. It's easy, even for a noob. And I change it while the oil is warm (not full-temp hot). That makes the draining go faster and better ensures that it all flows out.
