extendind AC lines???

i moved my radiator and AC condenser vertical to make more room for my turbo setup, but now my upper AC line is about 2" to short..

can a new section be soldered in to make it longer??

you would have to tig weld a section in there.. i have done 2 ac systems like this now... works mint.

Get another stock tube and then use two unions to join them That would be easy and will work well.

No, take it to a shop that specializes in automotive AC work.
They will most likely have a catalog with a list of fittings that are designed to have rubber hose crimped to them.
Don't get your hopes up, that line has the orifice tube in it right where it bolts to the evap, that fitting to hose might be a problem to find.

just cut and weld... unions may leak..

NO OFFENSE AT ALL.
Never had one do that. Used on AC, brakes, ect. You may wish to have someone watch you install one or use a better quality part.

I mean why trust the factory slip fit that is already there? Take your AC apart and you know what one I am talking about. Or a nitrous flared fitting? I think those are worse than unions.
