Squeeking in rear driver side wheel well
Hey guys,
Noticed this on my LOOONG drive to and from MI the other week. Everytime the car hit a bump or when I was driving slow and was going over an uneven road the rear driver side wheel well was making some squeeking sounds. Would never do it when the car was on a flat surface though. Also, the brake pads seem to be squeeking a lot more than usual on just that side as well.
Any thoughts??

Mine is doing the same thing.I sprayed some lube on everything that moves and it doesn't make any difference. I also checked everything to make sure nothing was rubbing on anything else. So that only leaves the shock itself.I'll be replacing them next payday.

Mine was doing that for a long time. I used all sorts of lubricants on that rubber and still had problems with squeaking. What seemed to finally solve it for me was replacing my sway bar endlinks with some polyurethane ones and changing my lower control arms. No more squeaks.

Tighten up the jack where it's stored. And stuff a bath towel in the spare tire compartment and tighted that mount too. The bath towel deadens the noise and is a valuable thing to have on hand in a numer of situations.
