Default Removing door panel in a trans am

I have a 94 TA... I assume 93+ have a pretty similar door panel but I could be wrong. I'm trying to use the pictoral for removing a door panel but the pictoral is based on a camaro and looks completely different from my door panel. Are there picture instructions for taking off the door panel for a firebird/TA anywhere?

Just remove all of the screws, pull out on the bottom, and lift up the door panel. You will have to take out the window switches and the panel over the door handle and lock. I think that is about it.

I got the screws out I'm just tryin to get the door panel itself and the electrical part (window switches/lock piece) loose. I'll probably get it off myself in a minute... in my car now doing it haha

Once you remove all the screws, remove the manual lock thing. Then lift that whole piece out around the door handle. You will have to maneuver the door handle through it.

STOP! Lift up ,then out. otherwise you're going to break some of the bottom mount tabs off.

Took like an hour for me to get the door panel off. A lot of the time was spent lookin for different screwdrivers and wrenches :o

The worst part were the nuts/bolts holding the motor to the bracket. Someone had already drilled the rivets out, but the bolts that were in there were bolted and were a PITA to get out. Took us probably over an hour to get those 3 loose... it was crazy. They were crazy overtightened and didn't want to come out, we had to pry at em for ages. It also took me 30 minutes to get the motor aligned correctly, no idea why.

I have a feeling my other door will probably take me <1.5 hours. The worst part will be the bolts again if they're the same as the other side.
