Default Another vibration thread...

Ok guys, I ve had my car for 2 1/2 years. since i can remember ive had a vibration on high speed turns (ie: highway turns).
While in a straight line there is no vibration at normal speeds, once i get to about 100 the vibration starts.
Since ive owned the car, the power steering, front and rear springs and shocks, wheels and tires, and rear gears and diff. have all been replaced. i dont know whats left to change/fix. any ideas?

The 02 Transam I had that was used as a D/D on interstate had a bad vibration that was fixed with re-balancing of the tires. It was on the higher up speed range above 65 that it was noticed. Mine was on straight aways, not curves. Then again it was probably on both.

Only things that get worse with speed are poorly balanced tires or an unbalanced drive shaft.

Rebalance the tires at a different place. Check the shaft for any big dents or marks.

i really dont think its the tires. i had the stock wheels and tires balanced twice and these new 18s were obviously balanced when i had them mounted. I guess ill check the driveshaft.

check to see if your torque arm mount is held in place by the 3 bolts that are supposed to be there
