C smokes a WOT..WTF!!!
but my hopes its just a leak
at WOT the car sometimes leaves a smoke trail behind it
doesnt smoke at idle or when rev..only when there is a load on it..
i looked under the car and dont see any oil or dry trails..i see some tranny fluid by the yoke
the odometers says 168xxx..but the cars had 373s put in 4 years ago so its way off
does anyone have any info..just dont say piston rings lol

Question: If you stay on the throttle after hammering it, does the smoke trail go away or clear up some? Thats bad valve seals. If they're really really bad the smoke trail will stay pretty thick no matter what. But if you just started noticing this, the valve seals could be going.
If the trail stays the same and keeps pouring out, like "keliente" said, bad rings.

i smelt it after i floored it and when i stopped i smelt oil or something going
my old 86 valve seals were bad and it smoked a lil more than this one and it used to build up carbon and stuff on the spark plugs and cause misfires...the plugs on my new car are fine just changed them and didnt see any carbon or deposites

Valve seals. If the smoke trail clears up as you keep the pedal at WOT, its valve seals. If the smoke trail stays thick and keeps coming out, its rings.

idk if i did it right but i disconnected fuel pump relay then..while it was cold cranked it like 4 times...didnt hold tb open..saw searching it should be open..it was like 130-145...is that ok..saw some like 210...but idk if it was done right
WOT (pressure drop across MAF and filter, no drop
across throttle). This line is unchecked. If you have
any blowby it carries oil fog right into the intake. I
put a little plastic fuel filter in mine as a poor man's
catch can. This would be blue oil-stank smoke.
Stock PCM tunes have (a) a fat commanded fuel-air
multiplier and (b) catalyst protection fuel-dump that
send the motor way rich, let alone if you have some
excess enrichment from + fuel trims. Black fuel smoke.
Running a ported MAF is a good way to land in crazy
fuel trimming and mysterious WOT fueling.
