Hood cable broken. How do you open hood?

Love my T/A, but the problems with window motors, light bulbs, cracked door panels, jamming headlight covers, radio display bad, sure keeps you on your toes. I should be a mechanic.

Get under the dash and find the cable. Hold the sheething and pull on the cable with a pair of pliers. If the cable is broken and inside the sheething, strip some off so you can get to the cable.
