Remove Power Steering

ok so i want to remove power steering because I'm not going to be using my car on the street and i did find the bracket that bmr sells for the alternator that i would need. I also have the meziere elec wp "street version" where the belt goes on the wp. Is there anyway to simply not run the belt over the pump and just go from the crank pulley to the alternator? I want to make sure that it wont be a problem if i dont run the belt by wp knowing that it is not a race version one. I didnt find anything under search on this. any ideas??

Just remove everything and get the bmr race alternator kit/brackets. You don't need a belt on your electric water pump, the pulley thats on the pump was there just so that you didn't have to reroute belt to avoid the pump. find the right sized belt and there u go
