hi im was having probelms with my stock alternator so i bought one from autozone and i hit rev limiter and the check gage came on and volts droped low into red.i got a new one and now it wont charged the car at all gauge goes up and then right down to 8. help me

Did something happen in the wiring when you got on the car? I would check all wiring connections on the alt, and battery.

tried everything there is no power to thin red wire to alt.where does it go i need help

Your "new" (also known as remaned) alternator is most likely toast.
