Cruise control fail after Differential change.. Help Thanks for your help in advance..
I drive a 99 vette with a 6 speed tranny.
Anyway, just changed to a 2.73 differential (from a 3.42); (I know what you are all thinking, I wanted the gas mileage)
Anyway, everything is perfect except the cruise control will not work in 6th gear. @70(110RPM) it disengages. I assumed that the c/c has a lower RPM limit, so I took it to 95mph(1600RPM) and reset the c/c; I was going down a hill & was loosing speed. I pressed the gas pedal and the car sped up. Therefore, the ls1 has the power available to it the c/c just will not use it. Any suggestions on how to fix/ reprogram this? Does the ls1edit have this change?
