Question Squeaky brakes when not braking, save me.

2000 SS; A4, stock brakes, good pads(verified), good rotors but the problem is that my brakes are squeaking loudly when I am not braking. They will sort of stop when I apply the brakes briefly but if I hold the brakes down they will squeal until I come to a stop. It's the drivers side only and the squeak seems to be coming from both the front and rear. How shall I go about solving my irritating squeaking problem?

PMs are best if you have an immediate solution and pictures if possible.

Hm. Well the only explaination I can come up with, is warped rotors. Try gettting your rotors turned. If that doesn't work, take your wheels off and do an inspection. How long has it been since your last brake job? Because the same issuse happened on my old lady's car after she got her brake job done, but after a couple weeks it stopped.

Could be bad bearings in the front. When mine went out, the same thing happened to me. The sound was very similar to a squeaking brake.

sooooo my friend was dumb and wrong on the brakes, the rears needed pads and the rotors in rear too LOL. I'm having some new ones slapped on there at my work...stupid friends.
