Default Headlight Problem!

Ok, so my headlight wasn't going down and i tried to manually put it down and then tonight i drove it and put them down and they made a loud grinding/vibrating sound and the ***** that manually move them were just spinning. When i stopped the ***** the noise stopped. How do i fix this?
