Default What could be causing my car not to start?

I have had my car for more than a year and i have not had any problems with it not starting. But know after i got my cam installed my car never wants to turn over. But the guy who installed my cam said it did that before they put the cam in. I dont believe him. But anyway does anyone have an idea what could be wrong.

And i have a new battery so thats not the problem.

What is it doing just cranking forever and never fully starting? Smell like gas?

If your worried it's your fuel pump then throw a pressure gauge on the rails and make sure it's at 58 or close when you turn the key.

Exactly its just cranking and not turning over but after about 20 to 30 try's it will start and then once started it will turn over each time i turn it back on. And yes it smells like gas.

Did you put new injectors in with the cam? If not it may be the injectors leaking down and if they are bigger then stock they may not have been scaled correctly in your tune and are washing down the cylinders. I'd still be curious what your fuel pressure sits at on the rail.
