Damn that sucks... guess that's why they say on the box to allow for sufficient dying time haha. I havent even cleaned my MAF yet the light simply went off after I put the 02's in

Sometimes a simple spray isn't enough. (But sometimes it is.)

I had to use a magnifying loupe (glass) to get my MAF cleaned well when it got fouled up. Not sure if it was silicone leaking from the sensor (as K&N claims) or the K&N oil (as GM claims). Either way, if you disassemble the casing to get to the core that holds the wires, you can see the dirt/grime under magnification that gets in between the twists of the wires. I ended up having to spray the sensor 5 or 6 times and lightly wipe the wires with a Q-tip to get the thing fully clean.
