i highly doubt you'll pass inspection.
and backpressure isnt a myth, but it isnt as noticable with our large, torquey engines, like weight. vris in a ford probe is important, and many exotics use adjustable exhaust. more flow is better at high rpms though. open headers in a ford probe, yeah you will feel it. extremely noticeable.

I had my exhaust cut above the axle for about 1-2 weeks before I installed the Borla. Took a saw to the pipe coming down from the over-axle in order to remove the stock and never had time to finish installing the Borla that day so I was stuck with a "custom" exhaust for a bit. Personally, it sounded nice and deep, but not LOUD at ALL. Its way too quiet, my borla with no-plate is still WAY too quiet. Albeit, the cut pipe and the borla with no plate probably sounds the exact same way just a bit quieter. I want something louder!!! It does sound good though.
so it sounds like the lt, ypipe, bullet, dumped is a good cost effective way to go? from this thread and other ive gathered this setup is a little quieter than duals because of the Y and way cheaper! will this make similar power as duals? if not how much you think you are giving up? 5rwhp if that?
i like the loudness of my cutout but it sounds like ****, no tone at all! id like to get duals but the budget wont allow for it so i might be trying this soon just getting opions?
