i'd go with gm mls gasket. they're reusable and imho they seal the best. as far as fitment on the passenger side i've seen a few threads on the issue and my set was real close to the k member too. you could grind the k member and get extra clearance too. all in all they are a real nice header. finish and welds are sweet looking.

You want the most ground clearance possible so therefore the y-pipe is pushed up as close to the floorboard as possible. With the stock rubber motor mounts, when the engine torques over the y-pipe will hit the floorboard. With poly or solid motor mounts, the engine will barely move. I have no banging or clearance issues with my QTPs.
