ls6 intake from factory?????
ls6 intake from factory????? I have a 01 ws6 and someone told me that my car MIGHT have an ls6 intake from factory and to not bother upgrading it. Is this true? how can I figure out of my car has the ls6 intake? I have the window sticker and the build sheet if that would help. thanks in advance.
Hey thanks for your quick reply I appreciate it. I did use the search button but some people mention that some 01's might not have the ls6 intake? So all the people that buy Ls6 intakes are only 98-00 cars? I was just about to buy one when I figured this out. Almost wasted 350 bucks!!

As 7plagues said your car came from the factory with the LS6 intake. It's possible someone swapped it out on you. You can check the part number on it, it's on the driver's side on top of the manifold. Here's one thread about it:

the intake is actually just the factory one I just didn't know that it was a ls6 intake. I thought with all these people selling their ls6 intakes I might pick one up in the mean time but I guess not. I feel like someone just handed me $350 right now. Suggestions on who to use to port/polish my tb? I think I'll skip out on the fast 92/92. I'm only getting a 228r cam with stg 2.5 5.3L heads I don't think I really need to get a fast 92/92. probably just keep the factory maf too
