tb coolant bypass & egr block

im lookin to do the coolant bypass around the tb. its usually pretty warm around here so im not too concerned with freezing sticking throttle. anyone have any problems with this before? also im looking into a egr block off. has anyone had any problems with burnt valves or C.E.L. as a result?

Go for it, just tune out the egr and no more ses light.

I put over 140k miles on my 98 SS and did the TB bypass around 20k, Never had a problem and we have some cold winters. I say go for it.
