Kooks Long Tubes And Y Pipe should i try and remove that piece of honeycomb thats inside of the cat, If i did would it affect anything, ? Would i smell alot of fuel vapors, get engine codes
onlything you will gain is louder exhaust and maybe like 5 hp. cats really affect dont performance anymore. you will get rear 02 sensor codes if you gut the cats out. the ses codes won't affect the way your car runs, it just causes the engine light to come on. you will have to get someone to tune/burn the codes out of your computer or you can try to find rear 02 simulators. so if all that is worth a louder car to you, then do it. if your just looking for performance, then its not really worth it.
Instead of destroying the cats, I will buy that catted Y pipe and you can get the uncatted version. PM me if interested.
