I'm getting rid of my TSP true duals and bullets and going the route of magnaflow 4x9's off the collectors with turn downs...believe it or not its slightly quieter and much lighter.

OVERALL BEST : 1- chamber flowmasters!!!!...lol...but from thier list sweet thunders are the better ones
no one has EVER said my bullets are raspy...at all. they are loud, and at high rpm they scream, but there is no rasp.

well i was hoping on getting some true duals soon, but they are on back order until the new year..thats what i was told by someone at TSP..so i guess i have to wait a couple of months to get them...but thats cool..my tsp rumbler with no cats is loud as hell so it will hold me over until then..i will definately be getting the dynomax bullets when i get true duals, they sound mean as hell

I have the spiral flows on mine right now but I just ordered some dynomax bullets to try. I like the spirals but it's just not the sound I'm looking for.

selling locally way to expensive to ship hehe.

I don't or never did have a y pipe setup, but it is MUCH louder than any y pipe I've heard. the bullets just scream, and with it being dumped it just amplifies it.

it's one of the loudest setups with the bullets of any f-body exhaust.

i absolutely love my spiral flows, quiet when i need them to be, but scream pretty good, and really deep at WOT

mine is the red z28, the CETA has cam, ORY, and corsa, and the vette is corsa with stock midpipe and manifolds iirc

I had the sweet thunders on my true dual set up and they sound very good. They actually give the car a tone rather than just being obnoxiously loud. But I ditched them since I wanted my car to be extremely loud.

the x-pipe setup pretty much eliminates rasp no matter what mufflers you use, be it bullets or whatever, thats one of the best things about it

I am having a real hard time believing it will be quieter like that. I have heard a few F-bodys that had mufflers right off the collectors with turn downs, and quieter is deffinantly not the word I would use to describe it.
For one, you will have the exaust sound coming from exactly under you..

Ill be getting this setup in the near future.. does the stock torque arm cause any problems, I heard something about aftermarket ones might be a prob.

is this system basically just a "bolt it up" system?
