PCV Valve (Orafice) Integrated into LS6 Valley Cover
I just replaced my valley cover two months ago and then saw it posted that there was a newer design used by the 2004 LS1/6's that intergrated the valve (orafice) in the cover.
I decided to look at how I could integrate the orafice in the valley cover and came up with using a stainless steel 3/8" allen set screw that is 3/8" long and placing it in the tube from the valley cover. The second picture shows the inside of the tube tapped.

Next attachment displays the drilled (2.5mm hole) set screw next to the unit used in trucks PCV applications (PN 12572717). And finally, the tube with the set screw inserted.
Now I have a hose running from the valley cover tube to the top (input) of my catch can and then another hose running from my catch can (output) to the intake. This deleted the need for the external valve (orafice) in the hose.
