Does Anyone Sell Front Facing Headers?
Does anyone sell front facing headers like you would find in a turbo or marine engine application? I've seen a lot of them on twin turbo cars, but I don't know if they are all custom built or if there's a company that sells them.
I think I remember a company that made them, but they were super expensive. Like $1200-$1500. Surely there are cheaper ones out there.

I've seen this done on SB1's, betting shorty headers and mounting them on the opposite side. THey had to be tweaked up a little. I've seen custom stock car headers made from the ground up for under $700 as well. I'm not sure if the bolt pattern would work on a LS.

The worlds lowest Trans Am of course.
I see 3 options for this car. I could get Mac mid-length headers, but they just don't make the power of full lengths, so they're a last resort.
Option 2 is take some cheap regular headers and tuck them up about 2". Both of these choices create a problem of running the pipes to the rear of the car.
Option 3 is to run the headers forward and then mount cats and mufflers in front of the engine in a nice, neat little package and then dump it out in front of the wheels.
A lot of the decision is going to based on how much I have to raise the floors. There may be no room left for exhaust pipes.
BTW, I'm body dropping the car. Nothing can hang below the oil pan and trans.

I don't think a set of short front facing headers would be any better than the Mac mid-lengths. Because of the room in the engine compartment, it wouldn't be easy to have equal length primaries either. Good luck in your quest!

I posted on your other thread about the short spindle frontend, so I am guessing that without the strut towers and all of that there would be a great amount of room to build these headers. I sent you a pm of a member on here that might be able to weld them out if you get them tacked up, but I might be able to get with him and see if we could build a set, but the only car I have for mockup is mine, and I still have the shock towers.

What I was refering to was in front of the engine. There's plenty of room for long tubes and mufflers there.
