Default Fuel pump install ? (pics)

I'm having trouble installing my new fuel pump. I've got the assembly out of the tank and have the pump installed with everything but the venturi tube. In the pictures you can see the long brown tube. In stock pump, there's a brass fitting that the tube slides over. On the new Wahlbro pump, there's no fitting, just a dimple. For those that have done this before: do you just push the venturi tube into that hole? I hope the pics help, thank you.

The walboro doens't use the Veturi system so you will have to cut the bottom of the bucket and keep your fuel levels above 1/4 tank. The other option is a racetronix fuel pump

FUCKKKKKKKK!!!!! I'm so ******* pissed off right now!!!
I bought the whole pump kit from someone on a local board in May. I had the entire Racetronix kit sitting in my garage until now. My plan was, when I get a rear, I would pull my tank at the same time and install my pump. The time has finally come and I have bought a Moser 9". My rear is on the garage floor and the tank is down and opened up. Go to put the pump in and there is a piece of **** USED Wahlbro, in a goddaammn Racetronix sleeve in the bag. No ****** wonder it wouldn't go in and didn't have a venturi port! Now my fuel tank is sitting on my garage floor and I have the entire Racetronix wiring harness and Ground and the wrong ******* FUEL PUMP! I just PM'd the guy and he better make this right or I'm going to be really upset! For a new pump only, it will be another $150 from Racetronix. ****!!!

I talked to the guy I bought it from and he got it from someone else. This really puts a bad taste in my mouth because I can't get mad at him if he didn't know it was junk. **** MAN!

That sucks man, sorry to hear that you ended up getting a different part than what you paid for/thought you had. Are you going to buy the racetronix pump only?

i know what you are going through, i did the fuel pump years ago on my 96 fire bird, i did the complete job 4 times before everything was just right, the crappy pump from oriellys didnt even have a cradle for the pump to sit in, so i got a ac pump, changing fuel pumps sucks
