Re: Pros and Cons of GMMG? I don't think you can get more quiet then Flowmaster at idle. It sound so so so quiet! It has to be louder, that is the only reason I'm getting rid of this exhaust. I think Flowmaster is much too quiet, and I do like the sound. I just wish I could have a better flowing, sounding, and somewhat better sounding muffler. That system happens to be GMMG, so that is what I want, and that is what I'm getting.
Re: Pros and Cons of GMMG? Also, another thing, when I have my windows down, will it be loud? Because I can hear my fan over Flowmaster, and I hate that. I want to roll down my windows and be able to only hear the exhaust, or at least hear it idle.

Although it does get a little louder with some headers.If you wanna hear your LS1 at idle, you'll need a lopey aftermarket camshaft.
But other than that, you'll have NO problem hearing the GMMG at any rpm as it is noticeably louder(especially outside the car) than the Flowmaster or many other systems. And it also has a much more aggressive tone(again, I cannot get over the amazing WOT sound). As for flow, do I even need to mention the improvement you'll get over your Flowmaster?!

With stock manifolds and cats:
1.)How loud is it around town? 1-10 6
2.)How loud is it out idle? 1-10 4
3.)How loud is it at WOT? 1-10 8
4.)How loud is it a crusing speed? 1-10 7

5.)Will it be obnoxious? No
6.)Will people hear it from far away, like cops, and wil it scare little children
