Default 2 Videos, 2 Problems.

I have two issues. First video:

Watching the first video, you can see my car idling higher than usual. I think normal idle = 700. I'm at about 970. But, as you see, when i press down on the TB-wire( w.e it's called) The car drops to normal levels. Also, pressing down on the gas-pedal, i feel a little resistance, as if it's hard to press down on. Then abruptly opens up. Is this normal? While driving though, i don't notice it much.

Video 2: This only occurs when i go WOT 2 or 3 times. Otherwise, it never occurs. What is this whistling sound? Is it a TB leak? Intake leak? How can I pin-point the leak location... and WHY does it only happen after a few WOTs?
If it helps, this happened shortly after i sent out my stock TB for a P&P TB.

Anyone can help me out? Here is Video 1:

VIDEO 2: (You have to higher volume to hear whistling) It's more audible around the glove-compartment area.

Ok I watched the videos. I have no idea what the noise in the second video is, but I have some ideas on the first one. That is could be the throttle body hanging up somewhere. Either the blades or the throttle shaft itself. The second thing it could be is the throttle cable (or tb wire as you called it) hanging up in its sleeve.

I would remove the cable from the throttle body and let it idle, then rev it up a little by pushing on the linkage on the side of the TB. If it returns back to normal idle, then your problem is in the cable, but if it stays high idle, then it is in the TB.

! Didn't think of doing that. I'll do that tomorrow morning after classes. If its the TB, then i'll pull it off, and reinstall it. Or is it specifically the blade, like u mentioned?

HMERacing, it isn't coming from the speakers. But thanks for the .02.

Regardless, the big question still lives, why only after a few WOT's do i get this problem? It stops the next day... so that means it takes time to adjust, and fix itself.

Is it dangerous to be driving under this condition?

easy dude!!!!! take a deep breath and listen for a minute. Have you had your TB ported recently? Have you tried adjusting the TB blade(by loosening the screws and moving it around to find the center)??

lol i'm just worried about aggravating the issue by driving it. Yes, i swapped my stock TB for a Polished and ported TB from a member on ls1tech who offers the service. I haven't tried tampering with the blades.. would you suggest i do so?

I hear there is a way to check for TB leaks using harmless smoke. But am not too knowledgeable of doing so. Thanks nickk

This is going to sound bizarre, but that whistling almost sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere.

You might have the TB sensor on to tight that would make it hang up...clean it out real good with carb cleaner and put on a new gasket.

Is the TB sensor that black piece on the bottom right? Or is it the one above it? I didn't know there are gaskets for them....

Its on the side, it connects to the blade shaft. I was talking about the TB gasket were it bolts up to the intake.

My gas pedal was feeling stiff only for the first inch of travel. So i loosened the blade on the throttle body and kept on opening and closing the throttle body so it would recenter it's self and it seems better. Maybe that would help you out.

Sorry to hijack op, but does anybody have good info on how to loosen/tighten the TB wire, or center the TB blade? Thanks guy.
