Default Which TB for Fast 90 intake???

I just recently purchased a FAST 90 intake off a user on here. It is going to go onto a stock 00 z28. I know its overkill for the car, but its a work in progress and i got a relatively good deal on it. Plus it will go on at the same time my long tubes do. My question is, is there a good quality, relatively cheap 90mm throttle body that i can swap onto it. I have been looking at the billet ones, but they range from $350-$600. Is there any way to turn an LS2 TB into cable drive. Im relatively new to LS stuff. I have been searching and doing all my research, but i cannot find a good cheap 90mm TB. If need be i will pony up the money, but with the economy the way it is, im looking to be economical as well. Thanks

Sometimes, you get what you pay for. The Nick Williams 90mm TB is kick *** and WORKS. Many of the other cheaper alternatives have issues that may have you pulling your hair out to fix (sticking blade, hanging idle).

I'd recommend the PTM 90/92mm TB! We've had plenty of success with it, and like the Nick Williams piece, you won't have to worry about hanging blades, wrong return springs, etc. Let me know if I can help!

No probs with mine (FAST) but it came used from a speed shop owner so I am sure any issues had been worked out.

Having said that NW is what I would have gone with otherwise. I know at least 3 guys running them with no complaints and it is a fine looking piece.

Infiniti Q45 90mm. Cheap and effective. Takes some creativity to make it work.

Nick Williams for sure. I had a Bluemaxx and the thing stuck open all the time and had a hanging idle. Had to keep blipping the throttle to get it unstuck. Go NW and never look back.

I got a bluemaxx for mine, its the same as a NW. The new ones do not stick either. Also, a 90mm intake is not overkill for your car. I put one on mine and it put down 350rwhp/363rwtq with longtubes and cats. This is on an otherwise stock 98.

This is the one I'm planning on going with as well. I've heard a lot of good things about it and it looks good on top of that.
