im having trouble in chosing what brand to get for a lid or cai . i dont care about price i just want the most HP

in my opinion a lid is a lid they do the same thing so its really how much you wanna spend

yeah if you read the stickies it is stated...

a lid is a lid is a lid is a lid

get the slp. you can find it from some of the sponsors for less than a c note. ive purchased three from speed inc. dont ask why.

I have had 2 slp lids myself, they are constructed very well and have a great fit. Not to mention the look of it, it doesnt look cheap with a abs plastic grain it is smooth.

I vote SLP, or maybe the FT 85mm but I dont care for the look of it and I think it may have clearance issuse with the larger opening??? not sure.

yeah clearance definitely and i dont think that much of an opening is practical on a bone stock application.

I ditched my SLP because the fittment was terrible. I now have the Fast Toys and while I think it would look better smooth im still really happy with it.

gotta start somewhere although I have an 85mm maf and slp lid and the ID of both parts is nearly identical so I couldnt see a real reason for it unless you are going bigger than a 85mm maf
