Default SLP MAF on LQ4

iam not sure if this is in the right section but here goes nothing.... i have a SLP MAF that came off a 2004 gto ls1 and was wondering if it would work on my LQ4 thats being swapped into a nova, and speartech is doing the ecu and harness. what should i do or will it work

The SLP unit uses a resitor in the harness to calibrate it for use on an F-Body. You can use it on an LQ4, as that engine used an 85mm MAF from the factory. Which is what SLP uses and adds the resistor and sells it for the 78mm MAF customer base. You can use it just fine, your calibrator should be able to tune it without a glitch.
