Default From True duals to catback w. cutouts

I recently have the texas x-pipe true duals setup with the dynamx bullet mufflers, i love the way it sounds and how good it flows, just getting sick of how loud it is all the time , and cause i just bought a house in a neighborhood....Anyways, im thinking about going with a magnaflow catback with dual electric cutouts, with doing this, will it hurt me much as far as power thru the exhaust , and will the cutouts make up for it ....Help me out fellas

Your Y-Pipe setup wont hurt you until you up the cubes or when pushing a lot of HP.

I have full hooker exhaust paired with one Cutout at the end of the I-pipe. I love it, I can be quiet when needed and loud when I want to be

The sound will be different though

I swapped from TD's to a SLP Dual/Dual with a single DMH cutout in the I-pipe and couldn't be happier. Nothing sounds as good as a healthy cam with the cutout open . As far as performance, I certainly didn't lose any. My best time with the duals was 11.93 at 113. My best with the D/D is in my sig. Granted, different days and many differing factors, but the only change to the car was ditching the duals and putting on the catback.

Car will be damn loud with the cutout open. It does sound good at idle tho with a cam.

i don't think you will lose any power since you are going to have the cut out... i love the ele cutouts get the DMH and never look back!
