Default Dremel for porting aluminum intake mainfold?

I am getting a dremel for christmas. I was interested in using it to port my weiand aluminum intake manifold. Will a dremel work to port it? If so what attachments do I need and where can I get them at? I have never done any porting, but would like to try it out since I have all winter. Any good articles or write up's?

Don't waste your time with a Dremel. They're made for light duty fine detail work like hobbies and crafts. Get yourself a decent air die grinder and a porting kit. Die grinders are not very expensive - in fact, alot are cheaper than Dremels.

I've used it even porting heads. I did have a Dentist drill bit that chops like a air tool. I like it because I can get into tight places I've never gone through as is the case with those bits that chop up too much. I've gotten good flow #s. It did take me about 5hrs a head. Its best to get the extension to get into the runners and bowls.
