243 LS2 heads on LS1?
243 LS2 heads on LS1? 
I found a set of LS2 heads from a wrecked 2007 Corvette for $450. The casting number is 12564243 and the car had 8700 miles on it. The casting number is the same as the LS6 heads. Are they identical? I read somewhere that the combustion chambers on the LS2 heads were made for the 4" bore of the 6.0 L engines and shouldn't be used on the LS1 blocks. However, all the data I've seen says the 243 castings have 64-65 cc combustion chambers and should be fine on the smaller bore of the LS1. Any answers? Also, can anyone tell me if $450 is a good deal for 243 castings? I plan on using a LS6 intake and upgrading the cam as well.
