Default arh headers

Just got my headers late last week, went with the 1 7/8" race ones. I am very pleased. They look almost too good to put on the car. Well with 7 to 10"s of snow coming tonite they probably wont go on for a while. Anybody who is thinking of getting headers from arh, you wont be dissappointed. Just thought i would share my thoughts on a great product.

You won't be disappointed! Not only are they a great product, but the company is great to deal with as well.

Hell yeah they were easy , I just had to wiggle my 1-7/8" past my steering shaft and trim the k-Member on the drivers side! Man this forum is awesome.

Agreed! Love the headers and very easy to install. If anyone reads this that is a basically stock LS1 Camaro...what were ya'lls hp and tq gains with the headers and catless y pipe? I know they won't all be the same...but a ballpark number is what I'm looking for. Anyone?

You paid $1000 for headers and had to do the same stuff to install that a guy who bought eBay headers did....... hmm. Interesting.

LMAO. Are you really comparing ARH's to ebay headers???? FWIW I didn't trim a damn thing to install my ARH 1 7/8's. They fit great and are excellent quality.

Well, I didn't have to trim anything to get my headers to fit. I bent the heat shield outta the way on the driver's side and they slid right in. Comparing eBay headers to ARH...is totally ridiculous. There is no comparison. I would still like to hear peoples hp and tq gains for their cars after they installed their ARH and Y pipe. I installed 1 7/8 ARH and catless Y, and only gained 15 hp and like 16 ft lbs, and I'm stock except for lid and free mods. What were ya'lls gains?

My 1 7/8 OR ARH fit great, and dont hit anything. I put them in same time The cam went in, the car runs great for the mods. So glad I got ARH over a cheaper style.

I'm basically stock too, just a couple of bolt-ons, and plan on getting the ARH w/ ory when I decide on a cam. With just bolt-ons you're not gonna see much more than 15-20hp, not worth the $ to me yet. All my mods cost less than $1,000. Try getting somone to check your tune, you may need some tuning.

x1,000,000 Fit and finish is great. Kinda close to the starter so I will see if any issues arise..... At least it looks the starter will squeeze out with not much work if it has too....

I'll be able to answer that question in the next few days. My starter's beginning to act up so I'll be changing it. It went in with the headers installed so it should come out!

Let us all know. As you can tell they are a pretty tight fit in there. It is the only thing I am skeptical about with these headers. PLEASE keep us posted with your situation.... Thanks!!!!!

If it went in I guess we are all OK though.Counting on it anyway......
