2/3 of the way done on Prothane install. WOW!
Prior to changing the mounts, the engine bounced like crazy and so did the shifter. It was kind of a novelty for people riding in the car, but I figured I should probably change the mounts for future abuse.
I have the trans mount done and the pass. eng. mount done and what a difference. I'd say it looks like stock when idling. The shifter doesn't move at all! It also feels smoother all around.
I saw someone posted to take out the alternator for the drivers side, but I have headers and it's WAY easier to just pop the drivers side header off than to fight with the alternator in my opinion. I'll finish it up this weekend, but I've gotta think it's gonna be cake with that header off.
Prothane Mounts!
. How much for all the mounts? I think all total it was $80 for all 3 and it was the BEST investment for a cammed car IMO.
