Correct me if I am wrong, but where are the injector bungs in the photo?
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.

I think that is only the top piece. The injectors are most likely in the bottom piece of the intake.

They have a 90mm version. What Throttlebody would you use to take advantage of this???
We will have the 90mm FAST TBs as well.
Do you have a price on these yet?

The pricing is on the website. The bungs are there. Just hard to make out on the photo. The top portion of the intake will be that color upon release.

This will definetly be a great purchase IF it adds at least 15 RWHP over a LS6 intake. I would think if this intake is offering 15 RWHP over a LS6 intake on a LS1 motor then it should produce more power on a healthy stage 2 H/C motor.

Does anyone know if it will come in black and how much additional horsepower can be gained from porting it?

I know that the upper portion will only be available in grey. Not sure on the porting issue until we have done some extensive testing.

Thunder- how much furhter does the lsx intake protrude toward the firewall compared to the ls6 intake? I have an engine swap vehicle, and clearance is tight. From the photos it looks like it extends further towards the firewall than the ls6 by an inch or so..
Thanks,
Bryan

I think the board needs a seperate section just for LSX questions hehe. I know I have my share. I can't wait till the tests are in on it. The grey color has got to go though. Maybe thunder will throw in a rattle can of your favorite color lol.

Chris, The piece that we received from FAST is for measurement, flow testing and fitment purposes. We have not done any dyno testing yet, but I promise we will post the results as soon as we do.

To answer a few other questions - They are only going to be available in grey (it will be molded that color.) Also, there is a provision for the EGR.

I ordered mine a few days ago and will post some heads/cam numbers within days of getting it.

I hope to see my power peak rise to 7000+rpms with this! My car makes peak power at about 6400rpms, and I think the ls6 intake was the bottle neck! I hope to have the hp keep climbing after 6400rpms all the way to 7000+ rpms with this new piece

If I can, I'll try to have the manifold port matched as well.

Angie

Are the throttle bodeis interchangeable.

In other words if someone purchased a 90mm TB intake could the stocker be used in the meantime?

Thanks for any info.
