TPIS 90mm ls6 intakes
Wish I could say, but have not tested anything other than mine. There are guys whom have stated having good results though (one such noted above). One thing is for certain though, there will come a point where the LS6 simply can't move enough air to support the cubes.
so would the rest of us....and sofar nobody has really shown anything other than what TPIS/LPE did.
"This LS6+90mm TB sounds good to me cause i live in cali and i got to keep that freaken EGR on in order to pass smog. So this sounds really good to me"
the FAST has provisions for EGR....sounds like it might just be the better option.
but...
assuming you have the ls6 now, when you sell it after installing the FAST, you are down to $800 out of pocket for the intake....take another $50-100 for selling the stock ls1 TB. so really you can get into a FAST setup for about $750
or spend the same amount on the modified LS6 + bigger TB.

i just picked up a used FAST 9090 setup, mild port by LPE, for $1200 shipped, and it included bosch green top injectors.
so selling my ls6, TB, and possibly the injectors (little more than i need, and could use the money)....i'm getting a FAST setup for about $500 out of pocket.
good deal in my book
TPIS needs to get the price down on this. Maybe sell a DIY kit to convert your own.

but the 90mm ls6 appears to have the 3-bolt mounting setup.
the FAST has both the 3 and the 4.
i would think you'll be limited on the TB that comes with the 3bolt setup.
the picture they used in the dyno comparison was not right. they show a 3-bolt flange on the "modified" intake.
guess it was just for the picture.
looks as though any of the 90 mm units should work
Or TPIS could sell a kit with good instructions.
The data made me think most of the reason the FAST shows a gain is the 90mm TB. The TPiS set up looked better under ~6000 rpm.
I may try this on my new 383.
Edit - Nevermind. I suppose a gain of about 12hp for the $350 isn't really a bad thing when you're trying to maximize your setup. Personally, I'd opt for the FAST setup if I were going for a big-number setup.
I have an idea, let's swap cams and run them all on a stock tune and compare!
