Sound is subjective, but the rest of your statement is garbage. The only way youll get better flow than a 10 series flowmaster is a straight through bullet, which to me sound like ***.

hmmm having swapped out a pair of flowmasters for at set of straight thru 3 inch magnaflows i would say i did just that.... and personally i liked both the change in sound and performance.... so your subjective analysis of my post being garbage as you put it.. might be right from your standpoint, but objective or constructive it isnt

happy new year

What type of proof do you have? Dynoed with flowmaster cutout closed. Dynoed flowmaster cutout open. Dynoed "x" with cutout closed. Dynoed with "x" open. All through same pipes and headers? All on same dyno?

I'm not saying it's not true, would just like to know more. I figured the cat back would have little affect with the cutout open.

Don't you usually loose power with the cutout open because not enough back pressure? So the restricted catback would raise the back pressure a bit..That was my thinking anyway. I don't have any sheets to proove my thought process.

Just a thought in theory...anybody?
Still waiting for a responce....
