1998-2002 Camaro Z28
Some models of Z28's with the factory hood may experience problems closing the hood. We've had some people with no problems and others that said they couldn't close the hood. To rectify this problem, the bottom of the air box assembly will have to be trimmed and the hood contact point may need to be trimmed or flattened. If you experience this problem and do not want to modify your vehicle, you can return the lid to your retailer for a refund. Please note that shipping costs are non refundable and the goods must be in new condition (no marks or damage).

As long as you do not damage the lid, you can return it if it doesn't fit. Just close the hood slowly the first time and you can easily tell if you will have a problem.
Thanks!

Not re my car, but about my old original Toy 4x4 which I bought new 30 years ago...and now has a slightly modified R-22....
I know NADA about K&N filter lids...are they designed to work on stock filter assemblies? What do they do? Are they worth the effort?
(My daily ride is a highly modified Porsche with custom trick suspension, all-aluminum GM LT-1 mill, ceramic headers, heavily modified OBD-1 sans smog, 10-1 comp. ratio, Porsche turbo stick-tranny & half-shafts, many other mods.)
