What would you rather say "hang on, I can't run again, my bottle ran out and I need to re-fill it" or "sure, lets race"?
Nitrous is cool if you want a performer at the track...if you want a daily driver that you can just go whenever you put the gas pedal down...it's not the right choice IMHO.

When you fill a bottle, you can get at least 10 passes on it. So to say he will be outta juice is stupid. You fill the bottle. Call your buddy up. Make him eat your **** 3 times. Call it a day.
Go fill the bottle and get ready for the next guy that you thinks gonna kill you.
In the mean time save up for the stall and sticky tires because you do need those. If the goal is to kill your friend. The bottle is your friend.
You go and get stall, tires, tune, and your buddy gets something modded on his car while your doing that **** and he still beats you and you have your feelings hurt...again.
Go fill the bottle and get ready for the next guy that you thinks gonna kill you.

My friend has a 2001 Trans am 6 speed, with slp long tubes, ory, hooker, cat back, ported throttle body, air lid and a Hypertech Chip. I have raced him a couple times and he beats me everytime by about a car length. I have a 2002 camaro z 28 a4, pacesetter headers, ory, corsa cat back, 3.73 gears, and an air lid. I realize that the manuals have a little more power but what do i need to do to beat him. Do you think hp tuning will do the trick or do i need more than that?

get your tb ported it is around $75 and some sort of ram air...either custom or a FTRA...should give you just enough to beat him and it wont kill your wallet

ya its not really that they have more power but that they can put it to the ground a little better and they do have a little more top end,or they get there faster than a4's.
but ya i would say a 3600-4000 stall,tranny cooler and a tune and you should be right there with him,and from a dig you will pull him.

Stall and Drag Radials will do the trick from a dead stop, he may still get ya from a roll though....Put a 100 shot on it and you will beat him anyway he wants to race...
