How do I beat this car?
What would you rather say "hang on, I can't run again, my bottle ran out and I need to re-fill it" or "sure, lets race"?
Nitrous is cool if you want a performer at the track...if you want a daily driver that you can just go whenever you put the gas pedal down...it's not the right choice IMHO.

My friend has a 2001 Trans am 6 speed, with slp long tubes, ory, hooker, cat back, ported throttle body, air lid and a Hypertech Chip. I have raced him a couple times and he beats me everytime by about a car length. I have a 2002 camaro z 28 a4, pacesetter headers, ory, corsa cat back, 3.73 gears, and an air lid. I realize that the manuals have a little more power but what do i need to do to beat him. Do you think hp tuning will do the trick or do i need more than that?
get your tb ported it is around $75 and some sort of ram air...either custom or a FTRA...should give you just enough to beat him and it wont kill your wallet

ya its not really that they have more power but that they can put it to the ground a little better and they do have a little more top end,or they get there faster than a4's.
but ya i would say a 3600-4000 stall,tranny cooler and a tune and you should be right there with him,and from a dig you will pull him.
