I have the loudmouth with stock manifolds and cats and love it. On the way home from work yesterday I had a cop pull up behind and I got the rpms up a little while shifting gears. Must not be loud enough cause he never pulled me over. In my opinion I wanted it a little louder but I thank a good cam will cure that

I say do it. I have LTs, ORY, and LM1 and I get no looks from cops. But I also dumb it down as well since I've got an M6. It's not going to be loud enough to get you noticed and at least it sounds tasteful which earns points from cops. Not like those coffee can cars that always get pulled over for sounding like ****. You have nothing to worry about so... DO IT!

so if you get pulled ov er for doing 45 in a 30.. you take the exhaust off, even though it had nothing to do with the exhaust...

i'm not sure if you're really mad but i was just joking because i wanted to get a bunch of "go for its" rather than one person saying yes. i appreciate the links you gave me.

when you go to LT's and ORY though, ditch the LM..
I will agree with keeping it around with the stock car....once you modify the rest of the exhaust it is like a train in the car always. Samething with the flow master catback that is on my car, I don't like it.

when you start modding.. the only exhaust i would go with is a 1 chamber race flowmaster.. they flow good as ****.. and sound evem better!!!
When I go to work, I have to pass the motorpool where cops normally take their police cars to get serviced and gassed up. They hang out there all the time to drop off/pick up their cars. So I know they hear me when I drive by. Well, I came to a stopsign and one of the cops got my attention. So, I rolled down my window and he yelled, "Get on that damn thing!" I said ok and sure enough I hauled *** like I stole it!
When I had an lt1 I switched from flowmasters to LM1 best $389 I ever spent it sounded great felt a nice boost in power as well just a little droan sound on the highway with an a4 but I just cranked up the 2 JL audio 10s to drown that out. Anyone know if LM2 sounds good with LT's on a Ls1 cause thats my plans.

i think the new one would sound good with lt and ory the one with the lm2 muffler and the other 2 mufflers after the axle,i have the lm1 on my car now with all my mods and it can be heard in the next county when i get on it but i like it for now,might try the new one latter
i would be surprised if you get in trouble with a loudmouth on stock manifolds, i drive by cops on gameday down here all the time with LT's, ory, and an open cutout never said a word! i guess it would depend on your area though...
