Default ARH install questions

i just got my ARH longtubes in the other day along with their catted y pipe. i ordered the race style headers as i have an 01 Z so no EGR and i will be deleting my AIR system during the install.

my question is, i have bungs on both the headers and the y pipe for O2 sensors. i thought that you only used one sensor with the headers? is it the front sensor or the rear? and then what do i do with the extra set of bungs?

thanks
tony

yep, you don't need them. you may even be able to put in a wideband in those for tuning. then again, that may be a little far from the headers. i am not 100% sure how important the heat is for the widebands.

Usually you just put the rear o2's in regardless if there active or not. the rears are to far back and after the cats not really an ideal place for a wideband. the plugs are 18mm in you need plugs call the shop.

I've read that having cats with the rear o2's can shorten the life of the cats

I've never heard that, all the rears do is read cat efficiacy(sp) they do nothing to alter tune or a/f ratio. if they are turned off all they are doing is plugging the hole
