Dumped exhaust guys come in
if you wanna save weight just run a bullet muffler, it will still be loud as crap, and you'll save weight over a full exhaust setup

no it had a definite lope to it, and the sweet thunders sound great with just bolt on but are wicked with a cam...i just couldnt dd it with a cam.

i tried to keep the camera far away from the car so you could actually hear it without killing the mic on the camera. Mods in sig...i have deleted all my sound clips all i have is the full video but gives a broad range of how the car sounds...has track visits,burnouts,wot passes and some revs

like its been mentioned about 3 times you are highly unlikely to find many if any people that have cats w/ out mufflers and then run pipe into dumps
it just doesnt make much sense.
if you want it loud and dont care about state laws run headers n some straight pipes
where i live i dont have to run cats so i dont, if i didnt have to run mufflers i still would

2 months ago it was 245 am , beer oclock is 3 am so i had 15 minutes befor sober time.
so i jumped in the camaro, got beers came back n saved the day right? nope.
i got a ticket for noise violation. neighbors complained they got woke up. thats how loud it is.
when i come home 9 times out of 10 the garage is being opened for me befor the car hits the driveway, i dont have a remote i have family members that can hear me coming that far away.
i set off car alarms! especially in parking garages!
trust me headers, duals, bullet mufflers n dumps is plenty loud

drone with these mufflers occurs around 1700-1900 rpm. other than that, they are great. if you run them out the back, the drone is completely eliminated, however, it doesn't sound as good to me as the dumped setup does at WOT.
View Video on FQuickthis is a idle vid I made when I had the tail pipes on it. i have it setup with 3 bolt flanges at the ends of the mufflers so that I can go back and forth between dumped or out the back. I may put the pipes back on it. Sounds pretty good in that vid.

Dumped past the cabin is really a term for trucks. Because it's a closed cabin and no fumes can enter the vehicles. For a car it must be past the rear bumper, or in some stock aplication and curtain acceptions it's leaving the vehicle (side exit exhaust).

ya i guess it cant hurt to try it worst case scenario you weld a bullet or other type muffler on there and the problem is solved. post up after and let us know how it went.
