Im looking for sound clips with cars with:

HEADERS/Y WITH CATS, NO MUFFLERS DUMPED

you all have great cars but all people keep posting is td setups. not what im looking for.

is that headers/cats, with no muffler?

if so thats what i want. but im not going to do an xpipe

nope, but i can get some, from what others say when they hear my car in person i'm told it sounds awesome and very loud

 

I dont think youre gonna find many people who are running dumps without a muffler but who still have cats. if they're dumped, then the cats got dumped too. if they are running no muffler dumped, then they def dont have cats.

 

haha yeah, i dont think im the only person that has wanted/done this so i was hoping someone had a vid. cuz if you have cats you really dont need mufflers cats muffle a lot of the sound

isnt it illegal anyways in most places to have a dumped exhaust? So why would you bother with cats if your going to dump it anyways

 

exhausts need to go past the cabin, so dumped at the axle is usually at the end of the cabin and legal.

 

im probably going to dump it right before or right after the axle.

If you're going to dump a Y, why not just cut the merge off and turn it into a cheap true dual setup?

I had a dumped Y before I made the switch to duals...holy cow was that dumped Y terrible sounding

i dont think its cammed man, its because there are no mufflers on there.

i want to hear it, with a dumped y. i have a friend that has it and its not that bad.

part of the reason i want to do it is because it saves about ~40lbs in the rear worth of pipes.
