Torque setting for crank pulley?
The instructions that come with the ASP pulley say to turn the bolt 120 degrees after the 37 ft lbs. The 140 degrees is for a stock cast iron pulley. Whether or not 20 degrees is going to make any difference, I don't know. Just stating what the instructions say.
I thought it was supposed to be 240 ft/lbs of torque????

Just make sure you torque it to the above specs. Don't give up when you can't turn it, put a pipe on your wrench! I say this because a few people have had their pulley spin right off the car.
All of these specs are almost unachievable. Just get it as tight as possible. I used impact on the old bolt then a long bar. Then the new bolt I just used the impact. I have never had one fall off.
P.S. I have done this with both ATI and ASP's

I got mine torqued close to 240 fl-lbs by using a one-inch drive breaker bar with a four-foot length of pipe slid over the handle. If it spins off when you are going fast, it can hit the bottom of the car doing damage. Also, one guy I heard about never could find his pulley. That's an expensive pulley to loose.
dam...you all are weak if you can t get it to 240ft/lb...I was on the ground under the car....had the thing in 4th gear with the parking break on....had a buddy mashing down the brake pedal I had enough torque to turn the back wheels still....so I put it in 6th and pulled it again.....got the torque wrench to click over...set at 240ft/lbs of torque(of course this was a stock pulley and bolt)....man y'all are weak.
