running a new exhaust questions
Well after the ls1 threw a rod through the block, I had to get a new engine.
It will be a .30 over 5.3 Iron block, ls6 heads, ls6 intake, 236/238 595 comp cam, with a few other things. Anyhow, I'm wanting to stay with Borla since I loved the catback when it was on the car. However, since i'm going to be going with a TD setup with headers and dumping before the rear axle, I'm not quite sure what type of Borla mufflers to go with. Anyone have any insight on this? I would like to stay away from a bullet style muffler since that'd be WAY to loud seeing as how I live in a neighborhood in the city now. Plus, I don't want to have to turn the stereo wide open to be able to even hear it.
I've looked at the S series, and the race style series mufflers, and i'm just lost. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Caleb
