The only thing I could see scratching the header is the tab that sticks out of the block, but you can either cut it off or file it down enough to slide it in. The passenger side just goes right in from what I remember. The drivers side would have minus that stupid tab that sticks out from the block.

It went right past it with the new mounts.
Use a floor jack and jackstands, jack the car up as high as you can and make sure the jackstands go that high. I did this to the front and rear so the rear was as high as the front made it easier I think.
